The company Zünderwerke Ernst Brün (ZEB) was founded in 1898 and has more than 100 years of experience and know-how in blasting technology. During the WASAG period detonators were produced in Sythen. When the detonator business was abandoned modern blasting and measuring equipment was produced for the explosive construction and destruction business.

With the takeover by the Spanish MAXAM Group in 2007, ZEB was also integrated into an international leader in the explosives business.

The name ZEB is today a synonym for innovations and qualified products in modern blasting technology.

Our products are characterized by our own high quality standards and an uncompromising safety, which facilitate the work, whether in the quarry, tunnel construction or other areas. Reliability at any weather and under any conditions is particularly important to us.
